.@Nonevent presents concert at @MetroWaterworks – 5/14 #tgthr5

In association with Together Boston, experimental music series Non-Event is putting on a unique show at the Metropolitan Waterworks Museum in Chestnut Hill on May 14th.

The evening will bring together a trio of venerated experimental musicians – Matt Azevedo, Ernst Karel and Jed Speare – to perform what Non-Event calls “a site-specific work using sounds recorded at MWRA pumping stations.” It’s sure to be a memorable performance in a space that words fail to properly capture. See some photos below (via Renaissance Restorations), read up on the details here and don’t forget that you can get access to this event and many, many more with a Together Boston 2014 pass.

"The core notion of the festival … isn’t just to provide a good time, but to illustrate the fertile mix of art and technology intrinsic to current-day Boston."

"The sixth edition of Together ... was a reminder of how much Boston still has to offer for the tribes of dance music fans who live here ... Despite its size, Together pulled off an impressive range of sounds from across the electronic spectrum."
