Gallery, a monthly Tuesday house night at Middlesex has brought some very solid talent to Boston in the past (Ron Morelli, Jacques Renault and Eddie C to name a few).  However May is a special Together month for residents Brenden Wesley, William Martin, and Matt Gavris, who welcome the arrival of two brilliant house acts, Dirt Crew of Berlin and Amsterdam’s Detroit Swindle at DIRT CREW NIGHT.

Gallery logoThe recent popularity of deep house aided by acts like Disclosure and xxxy is awesome, but Dirt Crew have been doing it up since some of those guys were drinking juice boxes.  The duo struck gold with their 2005 remix of Sasse’s “Soul Sounds” and have been rocking dance floors worldwide since 2004.  Multiple Beatport hits and DJ sets rife with both new and old school sounds has kept them on at the forefront of the club scene.

As a label, Dirt Crew signed Detroit Swindle, fresh faces to the scene, releasing their first tracks in 2012 but quickly gaining a reputation in their home base in Berlin.  Having already performed at Panoramabar and Tresor, they are making some big moves.  The Amsterdam natives draw inspiration from groovy soul and Motown, and incorporate as many characteristics of the genres as they can into their head-bobbing house productions.  Performing both DJ and live sets, their refined taste and versatility is a refreshing element in today’s deep house scene.

You can catch both acts on Monday May 13th (special Monday edition!) at Gallery as part of this year’s official Together program, DIRT CREW NIGHT presented by Gallery and Whatpeopleplay.

Want to get in on all the action? The only way to do that is to get your Together pass now!
